LSU RUGBY OFFICERS 2007-2008

Cody Cadella - President: Responsible for all aspects of the Club. It is his responsibility to represent the Club at all meetings with both Student Organizations as well as the Rec Center. It is also his responsibility to oversee all work done by his fellow officers. He is the person to make all executive decisions, but to do so in a democratic way that reflects the best interests of the Club.

Ricky DeCastro - Club Ambassador: A position appointed by the president. He is responsible for marketing aspects of the club including, promotional poster, apparel, and the club’s general image. The Club Ambassador will serve as a liaison between players and club administration.

Michael Heier - Vice-President: He is in charge of all team items including equipment and jerseys. It is also the Vice-President’s duty to oversee all activities hosted and/or run by the club (i.e. socials, banquets, tournaments). The Vice-President also will work together with the Social Chair to organize productive team socials, and do so in a way that stays within the provided budget.

Saade Bou-Mikael - Secretary: Duties include: verifying CIPPs, travel forms, Stadium Clean-up sign in, eligibility forms, etc. It is also the secretary’s job to write a match summary after every game to send to the president for the website. Another task of the secretary is coordinating all matches with confirmation from referees and trainers.

Paul Remedios - Treasurer: Responsible for all financial aspects of the club; primarily, collecting and managing player dues. It is his job to work together with the president to manage finances for away games and tournaments.

Jimmy Rehkopf - Social Chair: It is his responsibility to provide social events for the entire club while staying within the allotted budget. In particular, the social chair is responsible for coordinating fall/spring banquets as well as the Auction. It is at the Social Chair’s discretion to organize a social committee in order to reach all members of the club as well as receive aid for his tasks.
