Tigers Rolling into Midseason Break
At the midpoint of their season, the Tigers find themselves leading the TRU at 3-0. Saturday's 58-3 victory over the Longhorns of the University of Texas solidified their hold on the Texas subregion. LSU overcame sloppy conditions and found traction in the second half, but the disruption caused by the weather proved that there is still work to be done. Scoring was distributed over nearly half the team with tries accounted for by Tyler Ammerman, Saade Bou-Mikael(2), Adam Davis, Adam Ducoing(3), Bobby Johns, Nick Raziano, and Eric West. Davis again served as kicker for the remaining points.
LSU next faces Texas Tech in Dallas after a two-week bye. Meanwhile, the Gold Side will continue to vie for top honors in Deep South Division III. Check this site for updates on game times and locations. All spectators are welcome.
